ACCPAC Messenger (Server Edition) is a powerful, feature-rich communication solution that enables mid-sized enterprises to effectively manage, configure and route employee communications. Voice, fax, and wireless text messaging was never simpler to use or such a powerful ally to your business. Designed to help you better manage your communications, Messenger keeps your staff on track with clear, concise communication at their fingertips - instantly available and accessible in real time. Messages of all types are integrated with SMTP/POP3 email including Microsoft(r) Exchange, Lotus Notes, GroupWise and others.
Messenger Server software includes 3 components:
- Voice Server � Integrates to your telephone system to provide voice mail messaging, voice broadcasting and notification, interactive voice response scripting, and multilevel auto attendant. Coupled with the Internet Fax Server module, the Voice Server also provides fax on demand services. Requires TAPI compliant voice process.
- Internet Fax Server � Provides your mailbox subscribers the ability to send and receive faxes through the ACCPAC hosted Internet Fax Service. With the ability to obtain personal inbound fax numbers, mailbox subscribers can have their own personal fax number at a location near them without having to install and manage expensive hardware. Local and Toll-Free Telephone numbers are available worldwide.
- Wireless Message Server � Provides wireless message delivery to your text-message enabled pager or mobile phone. Messages can be originated from any ACCPAC Messenger enabled client such as Microsoft� Outlook� 2002 or the Microsoft Windows� Explorer. Make use of the built-in notification features in ACCPAC Messenger to alert you when you have received fax and voice messages in your mailbox.
